As a silent movie fan, I often turn to Wikipedia for a synopsis and/or information on the actors, but am occasionally frustrated by the lack of information. I think to myself "I'm watching the film. I might as well pause it to capture the information in the credits and write a brief plot summary." Now that I have created this user account, I'll get to see how enthusiastic I really am about doing that.

I am a librarian at a Seattle-area community college. I advocate for information access and the freedom to read.

I will not knowingly make edits that are not beneficial to the goals of Wikipedia. My early edits are corrections and general tidying up. When appropriate, I insert links to improve access to information sources and to scholarly sources held in libraries and archives.
