So I have a question, which is why doesn't the Welcome to Wikipedia editing START with this? I would have felt much better executing my first few edits -- and any fancier thing I have to do, like linking out -- in this space rather than on the page itself in real time. I spent time checking and re-checking to see that i didn't break anything.

I thought I was stowing links here. Did I forget to save? I did.

Sandbox? Sure, but also a lovely place to capture links like these.

Template:Welcome to Wikipedia There are more links here. Squint. Squint hard.
