Maud Durlin Sullivan (1872 - December 28, 1943) was an American librarian and patron of the arts. She is known for her leadership role in the El Paso Public Library (EPPL).

Biography[edit]

Sullivan was born in 1872 in Ripon, Wisconsin.^[1] Later her family moved to Madison, Wisconsin where her father worked as a rector in the Episcopal church.^[1] Sullivan went to Kemper Hall and then studied the arts at the Pratt Institute.^[1]

In 1912, Sullivan resigned from EPPL to move to the Mogollon Mountains with her new husband, John Kevin Sullivan.^[2] Sullivan's husband was a mining engineer.^[2]
