The Maumee Valley Railroad Club, or MVRRC, is an HO train club located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
History
[edit]Five men who wanted to build interlocking modules to promote their love of model railroading founded the Maumee Valley Railroad club in the early 1990’s. For a time the club had a display in the former South Town Mall. The club has been seen at many events in the area including the club sponsored bi-annual swap meet, NMRA division 3 meet, the Great American Train show, the annual Train Fest at Science Central, and in 1999 attended the Muddy River Run. Over the years the modular display has changed, but the clubs mission and goals have remained the same.
Goals
[edit]To have an educational and entertaining model railroad displays for the general public. Building friendships and associations with other model railroaders and those interested in railroads. Finally to have fun!
Mission
[edit]The purpose of the MVRRC Inc is to engage in the educational pursuit and the promotion of model railroading.
