Herbert Rosinski (1903 - 1962) - was a military theorist and military philosopher.

Rosinski was a Clausewitzian scholar and military historian who became a refugee from Nazi Germany and became a key figure in the development of military and naval theory. He was an early supporter of the recognition of the reality of the cold war. Rosinski's achievements include that of lecturer, governmental consultant and author.
