This project would create a lot more infomation on some of the BBC greatest comedies from the past 50 years. We at this aim to improve the 'big sitcom' pages e.g. The Vicar of Dibley and Only Fools and Horses. As well as some of the more unknown comedies like Yes Minister/Yes, Prime Minister (when I say unknown I mean not as many people have heard of this program compared how many people would have heard of Dad's Army or Fawlty Towers). See the Britain's Best Sitcom page for some of the articles we will be improving, of course don't include non-BBC sitcoms for now. However, if this project is a sucess then we may include non-BBC sitcoms in our scope.

Scope

This WikiProject's primary goal is to improve the main pages of all BBC sitcoms, therfore providing more infomation to viewers about some extremly good comedies. Completing this we would like to create articles on all the major characters from the sitcoms and eventually create pages on some of the more minor characters. Finally, we would like to create pages on each and every episode of major sitcoms and some of the best episodes from more minor sitcoms. Prehaps, once this is complete, we can set about improving pages on ITV, Channel 4 and five sitcoms as well.

Goals

1. To improve the main pages of some sitcoms, so that they can become Good Articles and potentially Feature articles.
2. Encourage people to create deascendant projects focusing on one sitcom.

To Do List

1. Identify pages that require improving.
2. Create templates, for example infoboxes, link tables, userboxes, banners, stubs etc.
