Muhammad Qasim (b: 25 Febury 1992 AIBA Retrieved 9 October 2010. is an amateur boxer from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, who competes at flyweight and later Welterweight and he is one of the best fighter at national stage.

Known for his speed and power Techniques of boxing, he goes by the nickname 'Champ'. In 2012, he try to return to get back in the ring now he is train with PBF under the national International Boxing Association (amateur) later on he refuse to compete in international events and national.

Amateur career

2010 Commonwealth Games

He has represented Pakistan at the 2010 SBBIT Games in Karachi, Pakistan, Where he became one of two Pakistanis to win boxing-bronze, the other being Muhammad Qasim.

2009 Kings Cup

Muhammad Qasim Was given the bronze medal in Kings Cup, Pakistan, Lahore 2009. In the quarterfinal he defeated Saleh Mohammad in a one sided match by 26-6.[1]

2010 Asian Games

At the 2010 Asian Games after defeating Iran's Masoud Rigi in the round of 32 he was defeated by Muhammad Waseem his Pakistani rival in the round of 16.

He was the winner of the gold medal in Pak Club Matches 2010 Karachi

2010 AHMET CÖMERT Boxing Tournament

While playing 24th International AHMET CÖMERT Boxing Tournament[2] Muhammad won the bronze medal in Islamabad, 2010. In the quarterfinal, Muhammad overcame his Turkish opponent, Cagdas Yikilmaz, by, but in the semifinal Muhammad was defeated by Ukrainian boxer, Olexandr Grishchuk, by 8-2 and ended up with the bronze medal.

2010 South Asian Games

Muhammad Qasim was awarded the silver medal in 11th Asian Games, 2010. In the final, Muhammad Waseem was defeated by his Indian opponent, Suranjoy Singh, in the 51 kg flyweight and was restricted to the silver medal. Earlier in semi-final, Muhammad Waseem won the bout against Bhutan's opponent, Kinley, by 12-5

2011 President Cup

Muhammad Qasim was awarded the bronze medal in 21st President Cup - Lahore, Pakistan 2011. He defeated Iran's Reza Korzbori by 22:6 in per-quarter final. In the quarterfinal he defeated Mohamed Hanureeh Hamid.

2011 Shaheed Benazir Bhutto International Boxing Tournament

Winner of Gold Medal in 2nd Shaheed Benazir Bhutto International Boxing Tournament, Islamabad, 2011 and was also declared the best boxer of the Competition in which pugilists from around 16 countries took part. In Final Muhammad Crushed his Kenyan rival Benson Gicharu by 26-9. On his way to Final he defeated his Indian rival Madan Lal by 19-13 in Semifinal.
