Odyssey School (Austin, TX)
Odyssey School is a small non-profit private school for bright students with learning disabilities. The school has approximately 40 students in grades 6-12. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and has operated continuously since 1997.
The student population encompasses a variety of learning disabilities, including ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, Asperger's Disorder, and Autism.
The school is known for innovative programming including: Service Learning, where students spend a day each month working at service partners; Connections, where teachers collaborate each week on multi-disciplinary instruction; Career Connections, where high school students job shadow professionals in the community.
