Narasimhamurthy Ramanath (born 24 April 1962), best known by the pseudonym Anaku Ramanath, is an Indian author, humourist, columnist, journalist, critic, publisher, and a translator working mainly in Kannada literary field and publication Industry. He worked as a journalist for several Kannada publications including Sudha, Vijaya Karnataka and Aparanji.[1][2][3] He has authored many non-fictional books on satire and humour, as well as translated short stories in Kannada. He was a recipent of the Karnataka Sahitya Academy Award for his work in 2020 Award.

Ramanath was born 24 April 1962 to S Narasimha Murthy and Leelavathi in Bangalore, Karnataka.[citation needed]
Awards and honours[edit]
His book on essays entitled Nidranganeya Selavinalli was awarded Sahitya Parishat award in 2020, and Karnataka Sahitya Academy Award for the same year.[citation needed]
