I was born in 1956 in Sovetsk, Kaliningrad Region, USSR, since 1959 he lived in Potsdam, GDR, since 1965 in Uzhgorod, Ukraine. 1974 to 1979 studied at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute (now Sankt-Petersburg). After graduating from the institute until 1994 he worked at the plant, in the research institute and in the city administration of Uralsk, Kazakhstan. Since 1994 an entrepreneur.
