Bill Hancock (born September 9, 1950) is an American college athletics executive, author, cyclist and outdoorsman who is particularly known for his role as Executive Director of the Bowl Championship Series (BCS.)[1] Prior to that, Hancock was Director of the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship (Final Four.)[2] He is also author of the book Riding with the Blue Moth, a non-fiction book detailing hist coast-to-coast bicycle ride across the United States shortly after the tragic death of his oldest son in a plane crash.[3]
