University Mall is a community mall and shopping center located along Taft Avenue, Manila, near Vito Cruz St. It is in the vicinity of top universities and schools in the Taft Avenue area, mainly De La Salle University, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, St. Scholastica's College and Arellano University. The mall is home to several stores, fastfood chains, coffee shops, Internet cafès and service centers. The mall building is adjoined with the Southbound terminal of the Vito Cruz LRT Station.

For several years, the University Mall has been a bustling and thriving meeting place for the students of the surrounding areas. Its mixture of shops and stores has made it a one-stop shop for everything that students need. Both De La Salle University and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde have college breaks, long noon-time gap periods normally allotted to study time and meetings of campus organizations and committees, and it is when the University Mall is usually crowded by students.

History

After being erected in the late 1980's, the University Mall was knocked down in late 2009 to pave way for renovations. The Mall was reopened in early 2011.
