Bodipalem is a village located 28 k.m. south of Guntur City and nearby Ponnur in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India.
Temples[edit]
The village has 4 temples and they are Ramalayam, Sivalayam, Poleramma and krishna temples. Ramalayam and Sivalayam are in the center of the village and Poleramma gudi is in outskirts of the village. Sri Rama Navami in the Ramalayam is the main and the most celebrated festival.

There are many famous people and achievers from this village like Film producer Achanta Gopinath. There are many doctors and educationalists who have influenced this village a lot and also helped in the carving of next generations.

They are a simple guntur village people who are known for the Pickles, hot red peppers and also of their welcoming hospitality.

The ZP Office is the most coveted places and also the krishna temple where people try to gather and entertain themselves. And also the 2 lakes are a great place to view in the evenings.

There is a krishna canal passing at the edge of the village which helps in the irrigation of the land.

There is an elementary school and a high school which produce a better part of the villager's education with the state board education. And have all the facilities for the sports. And many of the villagers contribute to the school.
Transport[edit]
Bodipalem is on the way of the route ponnur and Baptla. So there are buses to both the places and can catch a train from Ponnur and Baptla. There is private auto service to Ponnur. Nearest railway station is in Nidubrolu, the twin town of Ponnur (2 km from the centre of the town). Nidubrolu is on Chennai-Vijayawada railway line. Several express trains stop here.
