[edit]Donald Gehrmann was born on November 16, 1927
Athletic Career
[edit]Gehrmann was NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Champion in the mile event in 1948, 1949 and 1950. He was on the 1948 US Summer Olymipics team for the 1500 meter event. He was inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame in 1981 along with Ray Nitschke and Bart Starr.
