Allafricancinema is an online platform that allows viewers get access to African cinema, documentary, short film, news and Shows. It pulls most of its content from ones already existing on the web such as YouTube and Vimeo. Some of its content is also exclusive to the platform[1] and represents a growing number of sites dedicated to African cinema online.

[edit]It features news and content from different countries on the continent of Africa which include Algeria, Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameron, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leon, Somalia, South Africa, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe[2].
allafricancinema was a media partner for the first ever Sierra Leon international film festival[3] (SLIFF)[4] [5]. Allafricancinema allows visitors to leave comments on the posts and represent a growing number of websites dedicated to African cinema viewing online[6].
