Angela Yee
Angela Yee is an American radio personality at Power 105.1 FM (WWPR) in New York, NY. She is the host of “The Breakfast Club”, along with DJ Envy & Charlamagne tha God. She is the former host of “The Morning After with Angela Yee” and “Lip Service” on Eminem’s Shade 45 – Sirius XM Radio.
She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY in the East Flatbush. She moved to South Orange, NJ when she was 15. Her father is Chinese and her mother is from Montserrat in the West Indies. She graduated from Wesleyan University with a major in English.
She started her radio career at Sirius in 2005 as the co-host for “The Cipha Sounds Effect.” When Cipha Sounds left the show in June 2008, Angela took over the hosting duties full time. “The Morning After with Angela Yee.” She’s interviewed some of the biggest celebrities in the world including Jay-Z, Eminem, Diddy, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Rock, Jessica Alba and many more. She also manages GZA from Wu-Tang Clan and Jay Electronica. She previously worked for Wu-Tang Management. She is a correspondent for MTV2’s Sucker Free.
