Zukaz is a free-to-play, location-based augmented reality application, developed by Zukaz for iOS and Android devices.

Initially launched in Australia, the application utilises the user's mobile device's GPS ability to locate and collect Zukaz vouchers. These vouchers are dropped by merchants and appear on the screen as if they were at the same real-world location as the user.

After setting up an account, users can being searching for Zukaz Vouchers within in their real world surroundings. Different vouchers can be found in different areas of the real world maps. When a player finds a Zukaz voucher, it can be viewed either in the augmented reality (AR) mode or with a generic rendered background. AR mode uses the camera and gyroscope on the user's mobile device to display an image of a voucher as though it were in the real world. Players tap and collect these vouchers, once collected the vouchers are stored in the users app for future redemption.
