WikiTimeline
[edit]I really don't have much programming experience either. If you expand on your idea at the Village Pump (link) you might get some more comments. If you want to start a new type of page here on Wikipedia, you may also want to ask on WP:VPT for more technical help. You may also want to request input on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Days of the year and possibly Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Years (it seems to be semi-active) (similar projects seem to be inactive). If it seems there are enough people interested, you may want to file a report here for input by developers (You will have to create an account, I've never done it before, so I don't know specifics). There currently is a way to make timelines in articles/templates. I'm not sure how well it works or easy it is, but you can see it here. If you do want to create an entirely separate Wikimedia website (like en.wikitimeline.org), you should propose that here. Hope this helps! Mr.Z-mantalk¢ 21:52, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
And seeing that you haven't been properly welcomed
