  • The colorings here refer to the 2021 season, as there was no full graduating class from the Challenge Tour in 2020.
  • Lieser and Mansell were among the Challenge Tour top 5 in 2020 and given access to some 2021 European Tour events; neither played enough Challenge Tour events in 2021 to be ranked. The green color represents the category they wound up in for 2022.
  • Players could not fall below the conditional category for 2022, unless they did not play at all (like Huldahl).
  • Young and van West finished outside the top 70, but their category prevented them from falling.

Jack Senior finished second on the EuroPro Tour, but also finished 67th on the Challenge Tour. Borja Virto finished fourth on the Alps Tour, but earned a European Tour card through Q School. Marcel Schneider was not replaced, despite earning better Challenge Tour status in Q School. Other satellite tour players who earned Challenge Tour status through Q School included  Denmark Mads Søgaard  (Nordic #9) and  Denmark Christian Gløët  (Nordic #10). Moritz Lampert (Pro Golf #10) finished in the top 15 of the Challenge Tour in 2014 and graduated to the European Tour.
