Ip Man Wing Chun was established in 2010 to spread the art of Ip Man Wing Chun in Penang Malaysia. Ip Man Wing Chun Penang 檳城葉問詠春拳法學會 are registered under The Registry of Societies Malaysia. Hence the name "Ip Man Wing Chun Penang" "檳城葉問詠春拳法學會" or "Pertubuhan Ip Man Wing Chun Pulau Pinang" and it's logo are registered under Malaysian Government of Societies . In 2014, Ip Man Wing Chun Malaysia is also established as it has grown into national status association.

Ip Man Wing Chun Penang was establish by Sifu Aaron Boey , a disciple of Sifu Ip Ching . Sifu Aaron Boey is a 2nd generation of Ip Man Wing Chun lineage. Since 2010, Ip Man Wing Chun Penang has been doing many performances, demonstration, workshop such as for Penang government events, local cultural and heritage events, charity events. Also movie events such as for Ip Man 2, The Legend is Born: Ip Man, Ip Man: the Final Fight and Ip Man 3 premier launch.

Ip Man Wing Chun Penang has been featured in all main newspapers in Malaysia such as The Star, Oriental Daily News, Kwong Wah Yit Poh Press, The Heat, The Malay Mail, Sin Chew Daily, Guang Ming Daily, China Press. Also featured in videos by Tune Talk MIMMA #IFightFor, MYFM and Code Runner Game Show.
