My RfA

Many thanks for your support on my recent RfA. It was successful. Thanks again, Mark83 19:35, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Install Problems with VandalProof

This occurred because I do not yet have a working install ready. Check back tomorrow when I upload version 1.1. In the future, could you please post bug reports and installation problems at User:AmiDaniel/VP/Bugs; you might find that your questions have already been answered. Oh, and I think I'm pretty good as far as moderators go, but I'll certainly keep you in mind. Thanks. AmiDaniel (Talk) 19:31, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof 1.1 is Now Available For Download

Happy Easter to all of you, and I hope that this version may fix your current problems and perhaps provide you with a few useful new tools. You can download version 1.1 at User:AmiDaniel/VandalProof. Let me warn you, however, to please be extremely careful when using the new Rollback All Contributions feature, as, aside from the excessive server lag it would cause if everyone began using it at once, it could seriously aggitate several editors to have their contributions reverted. If you would like to experiment with it, though, I'd be more than happy to use my many sockpuppets to create some "vandalism" for you to revert. If you have any problems downloading, installing, or otherwise, please tell me about them at User:AmiDaniel/VP/Bugs and I will do my best to help you. Thanks. Really stupid question

How do I change the signature text which appears when I type four tildes? I see many have done it and want to hop on the bandwagon. ThomasWinwood 11:15, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you for editing the Main Page.General Eisenhower

I put this message on this page because I like giving messages. General Eisenhower

WP:AN/I

Nope, he's an ordinary vandal who is going around creating sockpuppets to evade blocks, or he is imitating a vandal, which amounts to the same thing. I first saw one of his sockpuppets doing this, which is vandalism of the easiest kind to detect. Titoxd(?!? - help us) 23:21, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Understandably so. There's about 7 throwaway accounts that are so clearly sockpuppets that they don't even merit a Checkuser per the instructions at WP:RFCU, but I cannot block them because I'm somehow involved, when all I did was to block someone for vandalism. Either way, I'll have to go soon, so I'll stay away from this mess for a bit. Titoxd(?!? - help us) 23:42, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Ross / Moss

They keep banning my accounts, so I can't log in, but you know who I am - noticing the Ross / Moss thing is very much appreciated - it shows not all admins are bad! I just hope I haven't added to your frustration, rest assured it's all in a good cause. 84.9.92.174 23:46, 18 April 2006 (UTC) (probably about to be banned ;) )

Invitation

Thanks for inviting me to join. In fact, I do have an account, but when I speedy people I often don't bother to log in. 18.103.14.77 00:29, 19 April 2006 (UTC) (aka User:Terrace4)

Thanks, I did know about those two points. I find many pages are so clearly speedies, the extra keystrokes in the {{db|insert reason}} template are almost a waste! I also don't use the vfd tag enough... 18.103.14.77 00:38, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR

Hi Prodgego, I'm having a revert "issue" with user 67.172.194.15. I feel their contributions are vandalism. (large amounts of text removed, unsourced additions, etc). I've already made my third revert and I don't wish to get banned. The anon user is on his 5th revert now. (I'm not the only user to have reverted this user today).

I'd like to get an administrator to review the situation. So far my notes on the noticeboards have been ignored. What can I do when a user is bent on disrupting an article? Or maybe I'm in the wrong here? I'd realy like to know!

Thanks, ---J.Smith 05:07, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your comments on my talk page. I've lost all good faith with this editor when they blatantly lied about who the administrators of Star Sonata were. I even emailed the admins to find out and they said they didn't know who this guy was. *sigh* ---J.Smith 14:49, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

NewsMax.com

Thankyou for your query, but yes it was fully authorised. It is nice to see another admin who is on the ball! --Vamp:Willow 21:38, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

The Game (game) on DRV

I have not challenged your closure, but I'm sure it is going to come up at some point. Giving due notice and whatnot. Kotepho 04:28, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Attack

I am attackign essjay? I did not ban him from channels. I havent done anything to him at all. I just need to be able to use #wikipedia-en-vandalism (former #en.wikipedia.vandalism) which I had been using before essjay joined. Please don't treat me like a troll... --Cool CatTalk|@ 17:14, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

VP

Does that actually solve the problem by editing the list on the page that you did? --Wisden17 23:14, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

I didn't update the page as I wasn't sure if that would work, and so I let AmiD do it, as I could see he was online. --Wisden17 23:16, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Oh ok, well thanks for that. And I see that you're now going to be a moderator. --Wisden17 23:19, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof Moderators

Thank you for your willingness in helping me out with VandalProof! You've now been made a moderator, so when you load VandalProof the next time, you should see 'Moderator' in front of your username, and you should also find a Moderator Tools menu. I've made a very basic page explaining what's expected of moderators and how to do certain tasks, which can be found here: User:AmiDaniel/VandalProof/ModeratorTools. If you change your mind and don't want to moderate, please contact me. Again, thanks! AmiDaniel (Talk) 23:57, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

AWB checkpage

Why did you remove GeorgeMoney from there? ILovEPlankton 13:09, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

OK thanks for the response. ILovEPlankton 23:35, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
