Rook and The Ravens
Rook and The Ravens are a Glossop-based five-piece band who have shot to popularity in Britain and most notably Ireland. The band's debut single "Alpha" reached the Irish download charts and is arguably their trademark track. Following the release of their first full album, "Sixteen Holes in Sixteen Souls", the band have played notable venues such as the "Summer Sundae Weekender", "Glastonbury Music Festival", "Kendal Calling" and are also set to take to the stage at 2011's "Friends of Mine" festival. Prior to the release of Sixteen Holes in Sixteen Holes, the band played at Tbilisi Open Air festival in Georgia on May 17th 2009 in front of an estimated 15,000 festival go-ers.
Formation
The band is essentially the product of a combination of Fayze 2 (leading brothers Joe and James Fay's previous band) and The Tom Cartledge Band.
