The Mr. Coronado pageant is an annual competition held at Coronado High School in Scottsdale, Arizona which has historically acted as a fundraiser for local charities and efforts. The winner of the competition is awarded the title of "Mr. Coronado" for the rest of the school year. Traditionally, the winner of the previous year's Mr. Coronado competition is present at each year's pageant.
History
[edit]The Mr. Coronado competition was founded by Courtney Kemp at Coronado High School. Since its inception, the Mr. Coronado competition has been held annually in the early spring at Coronado High School.
Qualities
[edit]The Mr. Coronado competition has traditionally selected competitors who possess certain qualities. The ideal Mr. Coronado is:
- Cunning
- Honest
- Caring
- Sexy
- Dangerous
