Marie Hale Sandall (1933-2020) was a dancer from Greenwood, Mississippi, notable for her teaching, choreography, and founding of the Ballet Florida dance company in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Early years in the Mississippi Delta
[edit]Claire Marie Stoner was born in 1933 in Greenwood, Mississippi to parents Lawrence Hibbler Stoner and Jennie Massa Weaver. She and her future spouse, Reuben Aldridge Hale, Jr attended the same schools in Greenwood but didn't date until they were young adults.
