Emanuele Tozzoli (born 1989 in Italy) is an Italian contemporary visual artist who lives and works in Turin.[1] He works in painting, drawing and sculpture. Tozzoli exhibited his works and is represented by international galleries in many countries[2] like USA, Australia, UK, South Africa, Italy, Israel, Germany,[3] and his works are present in international collections all over the world.[4]

Education and early life[edit]
Emanuele Tozzoli begins to paint in the very first years of age together with his father, also an artist.[5] In the following years he extended his studies by graduating as a sound engineer, studying musical composition and learning the restoration of ancient wall paintings through the teachings of a well-known art master from Turin.
Artistic style[edit]
Emanuele Tozzoli mixes expressionism, abstraction and cubism creating colorful and visceral pieces. Rich in influences derived from ancient and sacred iconography, Tozzoli's work combines symbolism and portraiture with the traits, forms and archetypes characteristic of childhood. [6] Tozzoli describes his working method as a primitive and instinctive experience. His works, characterized by a highly conceptual, fragmented and often ironic tone, allow the viewer complete freedom of interpretation and abstraction, dragging their view into dreamlike and extravagant worlds.[7]
Exhibitions[edit]
Tozzoli has exhibited in international gallery and fair all over the world. He had his first exhibition in the Australian continent in 2018 at 19 Karen Gallery[8] in Mermaid Beach, in the same year he exhibited his works in Israel at Mika Gallery[9] of Tel Aviv and in USA at Saphira e Ventura Gallery of New York wich boasts works by Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Frida Kahlo, Jackson Pollock and Salvador Dali. In 2019 Tozzoli had his first solo show[10] in the South African continent at Daville Baillie Gallery[11] in Johannesbourg[12], in the same year he exhibited in Germany at Art Base Gallery[13] of Wiesbaden. Actually he is represented by JM Art Management[14] of Los Angeles.
