Alex Cheatle is CEO and co-founder of Ten, the London based providers of concierge and professional support services.

Cheatle grew up in Essex and was educated at Bancrofts School and St Catherines College, Oxford, and went on to become a brand manager for Proctor & Gamble. He co-founded Ten with his half-brother Andrew Long in 1999.[1]

Ten currently has 450,000 members [2] of its lifestyle concierge services and its sustained growth has lead to inclusion in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100.

In 2007, Cheatle saw that the 'Intelligent Support' model used by Ten in luxury concierge could be applicable in the public sector and, along with the TDA and the NCSL, launched The Key, a website to assist UK school leaders in the efficient running of their schools. The service is now run without government backing and continues to grow, currently assisting 1200 schools.[3]
