Khushboo Shroff (born 3 October 1987), is an Indian film actress. Khushboo began her career appearing in several television serials and advertisements in 2009. She quickly got her first break in Bollywood with Dharma productions- I hate Luv Storys (2010). Ms. Shroff has earned many accolades in Gujarati and Hindi Theatre. She has also directed two Hindi plays which performed at the prestigious Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai.
Family & Early Life
Shroff was born in 1987 to Gujarati-Jain parents in Mumbai, India. Her father, Vijay Shroff, is a business man in Mumbai. Her mother, Bharati Shroff, was a fulltime homemaker during her childhood years. Later her mother started her own business in food and catering. Khushboo has an elder sister named Resha Shroff Gala.
Khushboo completed her schooling in 2003 and attended Jai Hind College (2003–2008) and earned her Bachelors degree in Arts. During her tenure at Jai Hind Khushboo was part of the theatrical group "Moksh" and performed as an actress in many Gujarati and Hindi Plays and won many awards for her performances as an actress in leading role and as a supporting actress.
Career
Khushboo Shroff began her career with Television in 2009. She performed the role of Radhika- Sister to Sumeet Raghavan in the serial Pani Puri on Star One. Post Pani Puri, she has not accepted any TV serials but continues to shoot for advetisements. Videocon IPL Ad was her first, followed by Maggi, MTV Morning Raga and Airtel super star buzz. Shroff debut in Bollywood was under Dharma productions I hate luv storys (2010). Her upcoming movies are F.A.L.T.U(Apr 2011) produced by Puja films and B0DYAGURD by Reel life Entertainment.
Khushboo was the production assistant for Hollywood film ‘REBOUND’ (Mumbai unit). She has also worked as an AD (assistant director) for Ad Films: Reliance Infocomm from Pre to Post for Anticlockwise Productions and Indian Railways – ‘Beware of Pick Pocketing’. She was also the AD for Music Video For 'ZODIAC' sung by Shaan. Shroff directed 2 hindi plays, JULOOS (2007) and Siddharth (2009). The plays were performed at the prestigious Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai.
