These Scenes

These Scenes is the name of a 4 piece Progressive Rock/Post-Hardcore band, originating from the town of Rugby. Founded in 2008, These Scenes began as a Hardcore band. The line-up featured was Ben Saunderson, Ruby Campbell, Tom Brill and Jonathan Kirk. Too their surprise, at the beginning of 2009, Jonathan Kirk left the band, due to vocal constraints.
The band then took a different direction in their music compositions, and became a 3 piece progressive rock band, dealing only with instrumental tracks. It was in the year of 2009, that These Scenes came into their own, writing a variety of tracks, and playing gigs all around the local area. In summer of 2009, the decision was agreed that Tom Brill would leave the band, and pursue other musical aspirations of his own. Without a drummer and a vocalist, Ben and Ruby started the hunt for both. Eventually, while at college, the two came across Christian Rose, a vocalist whom they knew from their older school days, and James Brain, an innovative and talented drummer. On November 5th 2009, the newly reformed These Scenes had their first practise together, and instantly hit it off. Ever since, These Scenes have become a large musical influence once again, and are always writing.
