Ruby Donna Hargrevas (born January 2, 1975 in Burrillville, Rhode Island) is a fictional character in the sitcom "Independence", played by Reese Witherspoon. She's feminist, assertive, wisecrack and know-all, sometimes obsessively, than it becomes a joke by her friends.
Background
[edit]Ruby finished college in success and was about to study in university. In the first epidose, she and her two friends, Michael and Larry, unpacking their stuff from the suitcases and crates to a big flat in Jewelry District. Ruby knows Michael and Larry from high school there they've been best friends Another friend of her from job, Linda, is moving their block too.
In university, Ruby decides to learn political science, which is not very anticipated by her, since she's not knowledgeable or interested in politics. She finds a job as the secretary of Xavier Becerra.
