Ruby Hargreves is the central personality in the team (although she is not a main character). Often known for her wisecrack, obsessiveness and straightforwardness. Michael Klein was a friend of Ruby in high school. As a teen he was never too popular or too good at grades, but now he's the best student in the group, but not very good with women. He is having a weblog. Larry Warner is a friend of Ruby and Michael since high school, too. He once was the roomie of Jason. He's cynic and a fantasizer. Linda McLoughlin was working with Ruby in the same job, there they met. She is categorized as serious, pressed and domineering most of the time. Doris Knight is the only character that appeared in the Pilot epidose without any contact to anyone. She came to be a roomie to Linda. She is a bit "daydreamer" and tact-less. Jason Kiger is a friend of Michael and Larry from college. He loves food, women and fashion.
In the show, there are three apartments that all the characters, in the same level. Ruby, Michael and Larry in one apartment, Linda and Doris in the second and Jason in the third.
