Valpurgis is a hard rock act from Ventura, California. They have been at times referred to as "Black Sabbath-like" or "kickass".
History
[edit]Formed in early 2009 as Orgazmitron, core members Julien Zuniga and Sammy Lightnin' Cicero recorded one song with original vocalist Max Parker entitled "The Bad News". While this song did not whatsoever reflect the sound sought after by the members of the band, it did open an opportunity for bassist Noah Wilson to come into the picture. Max Parker's departure as vocalist in mid 2011 marked a turning point in the musical direction of the band, leaving the badass blues rock power trio that is Valpurgis today. This band is not very good live, and was ridiculed for being so terrible at their live show. Black Sabbath is a terrible influence, and it is a shame this band has become so horrid. They should leave music forever.
Shows
[edit]Valpurgis has to date played one show at the Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, CA. They totally killed it.
