She is a nationally recognized speaker and workshop presenter who understands the challenges of the military family lifestyle. She has been featured guest on Army Wife Talk Radio [4] and Navy Wife Talk Radio [5]. In addition to writing articles about careers and goal setting, Dr. Wells hosts both in-person and Teleclass formats where the focus is to learn to survive and thrive during deployments; find a Portable Profession™ that truly energizes the spirit; gain clarity, set priorities, and accomplish more with less effort; finish degrees and create career opportunities; or how members of the military and their family members can learn how to position themselves for their next military move, or life after the military.
Dr. Wells is a member of the West Hartford Toast Masters Association and the International Coaching Federation. She was selected by Military Spouse Magazine as one of the Who’s Who in military spouses and as one of the Most Influential Military Spouses in the Country. Dr. Wells also enjoys writing, presenting workshops, and giving occasional keynote speeches. Continual learning is of utmost importance to her so she attends conferences and training events both in person and online on a regular basis. She works part time in private practice—and balances that with raising four young children in West Hartford, CT with her husband who is a teacher and who also serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.
