Sowmya Rao Nadig (Kannada:ಸೌಮ್ಯ ರಾವ್ ನಾಡಿಗ್, born 29 September) an Indian film and television actress. She made her television debut in Valli as Uma Maheswari and currently the doing negative role in Roja as Saakshi and Nenjam Marapathillai as Sathya in.
Sowmya Rao Nadig was born in Shimoga, Karnataka, India. She is fluent in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, and English. Sowmya became popular and successful after playing the lead role, as Uma Maheshwari in Valli, as Sathya in Nenjam Marappathillai, as Saakshi in Roja, which aired in Star Vijay and SUN TV respectively. As a part of her education, Sowmya was schooled at Government Girls High School, Shikaripur. Then completed her graduation at Kuvempu University.
