Joseph Bagwell Is an english musician, composer, singer-songwriter and producer.

Early Career[edit]

In 2013 Joseph began his first year at Northbrook College studying music technology. Whilst there he began to develop his keyboard skills using midi controller keyboards in college work. He began to create ambient improvisational compositions using software instruments, some of which where released as part of his first album Summit. Towards the end of his first year He set out to create a second album after listening to Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene, which later became Carbon. Around the same time he formed Black Rounin with an old school friend. They performed at a local music festival with the help of Joe's godfather on bass guitar where they played a 15 minute set of cover songs covering Slip Out (a Little More Than Before) from the anime Beck, For What it's Worth by Buffalo Springfield and Wish you Were here by Pink Floyd. Afterwards they disbanded after failing to find additional band members.

Musical Style and Influences[edit]

Growing up Joseph was exposed to artists such as Genesis and Mike Oldfield both of whom are sited as influences on his more rock and folk based works. He was also mainly influence by other artists from the 70's, 80's and 90's such as Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, The Orb, Pink Floyd and Japanese progressive rock band Midas. He tends to keep his musical styles separate having either an album of electronic music or of more organic music like rock. His electronic music styles consist of droney ambient background music to pumped techno tunes.
