Jake England is a renowned, All-American and USAV actice Volleyball player.

Beginning his career at the age of 9, Jake began playing on the 11-U division of Cincinnati Attack Volleyball Club. As a setter, Jake showed remarkable progress. "Jake had a skill that isn't easily adapted at that age. He had remarkable promise."

Jake continued his game play through 9 years of club volleyball, including three years at the 18-U's level. During this time, Cincinnati Attack claimed 5 USAV JVDA titles, earning Jake 3 tournament MVP titles on a national level.

Jake later recieved a full scholarship to play NCAA Division I Volleyball for Western Kentucky University. He was later named All-American as the only starting Freshman for WKU's NCAA Division Championship team in the 2008-2009 season.

After red-shirting a year of play during a transfer to Northern Kentucky University, Jake is now back in action, setting for the Norse Volleyball Club.

COACHING:

Jake is not only an avid player, but he is currently entering his second year coaching Volleyball for Blue Crush Volleyball Club. Directed by Clara England, ex Highlands superstar, the club is a young, but dominating club in the USAV tournaments, and taking JVDA by storm. Jake's 5 JVDA player titles are now joined by a coaching title, including one for best defense for the 2009-2010 15's season.
