Bohdi Sanders is a well-known author and martial artist whose books are mainly focused on the art of living a life based on honor and integrity. His most recognizable books are entitled "Warrior Wisdom." The Warrior Wisdom Series consist of three books, each which are very highly reviewed and endorsed by many well-known martial arts authors and practitioners such as Marc MacYoung, Loren Christensen, Lawrence Kane, and Alain Burrese. His prose has been recognized for its important contributions to the field of martial arts and martial arts philosophy throughout the world. Sanders' is best known for his unique integration of maxims, quotes, and wisdom from throughout the world with martial arts, forming a philosophy for a way of life which he calls the "warrior lifestyle."
Biography
[edit]Bohdi Sanders has studied the science of martial arts for over 25 years, training in karate, ninjutsu, jujitsu, and krav maga. He has a black belt in karate and is a certified specialist in martial arts conditioning, as well as being a certified personal trainer through ISSA. He has also earned five college degrees, including his Ph.D. in Natural Health. Although he is mainly known for his books which integrate wisdom with a martial arts philosophy, he is also a school teacher and a natural health practitioner who is endorsed to teach in a variety of subjects. Dr. Sanders' knowledge in the field of holistic health ranges from certifications in reiki and acupressure to herbalism. [1] He is also known as an authority in the field of wisdom literature, which he integrates throughout all of his books. Dr. Sanders' books are based mainly on the premise that everyone should live to the fullest, while at the same time, living by a specific code of conduct. Most of his writing is based on living what he has termed as the "warrior lifestyle" - a term which Sanders defines in his writing as "a life based on character, honor and integrity."[2] Dr. Sanders currently resides in Colorado where he teaches history and continues to write.
