STEVE GORDON is a Producer, Mixing Engineer & Studio Guitarist with over 25 Gold records to his credits. He came from New York to Miami in the 70's and made his mark starting in 1977 playing guitar on the very 1st 12" gold recording "DO YOU WANNA GET FUNKY WITH ME" by Peter Brown. Brown went on from there to pen the Madonna hit Material Girl and Steve then started playing guitar on other recordings in Miami. He played on KC & the Sunshine Band's Epic album titled "They Only Come Out At Night" and sessions started coming in with other major stars. In January 1990 he hit the Billboard Pop Charts with his first production "I WANT YOU by artist "SHANA" on Vision Records. Steve wrote, produced & recorded the hit for Vision Records in Miami, Florida. He then began to get called to do more artists such as "Sandee" a former singer in the Miami female group Expose. Then produced Laurie Miller who was another vocalist in the original lineup of Expose. Steve Gordon has played guitar for artists Regina Belle, Bon Jovi's song Heart Of America recorded for Farm Aid, Rob Thomas's Tabatha's Secret album, Dion Dimucci's Dream On Fire Album, Inner Circle, Donell Jones, Phyllis Hyman's #1 R&B song Don't Wanna Change The World, & many others. Steve toured with R&B singer Betty Wright for 12 years all over the USA and made many trips to the United Kingdom to play for sold out shows at the Hammersmith Odeon and other locations in England. Currently in 2010 Steve has mixed albums for R&B artist Donell Jones who entered the Billboard R&B album charts at #9, Gospel artist Greg O'Quin & iPraize & Travis Greene who both are currently on the Gospel music charts.
