Wayne Bentley Evans (born July 1, 1960) is Founder of Massage Heights Corporate LLC. After founding Massage Heights LLC. Evans continued the path of entrepreneurship by establishing Massage Heights LLC as a franchise, which grew to be the second largest franchise in the membership based massage therapy clinic industry as of January 2011.

Personal Life[edit]

The Fourth Son (one younger sister) born July 1, 1960 to Stuart William Evans (US Navy) and Eleanor Marie Evans (Ayo) a University administrator Evans was strongly influenced by his parents and brothers to compete in sports and was encouraged from early age that with hard work and determination anything is possible.

In 1998 Evans married his college girlfriend Karen Brown which together lost an infant boy still born at eight and a half months and divorced in 1990. In 1994 he married Shane Lorene Franson and together have three Daughters, Kayci Taylor Evans, Wesli Layne Evans and Braydi Grayson Evans and live in San Antonio, Texas.

Education[edit]

Evans attended Texas State University (formally Southwest Texas State University) on a track and field scholarship competing primarily in the pole vault with a personal record of 16’1” and also competed in the decathlon. While attending [1] Texas State he was initiated and became a honorary member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity and graduated in 1985 with a BS in education and a minor in health education.

Career[edit]

From 1985 to 1990 Evans was taught health education and coached both football and track and field at the high school level before resigning from the education field in 1990 and taking a position at Bally Total Fitness which lasted 14 years with relocation, promotions and accolades. In 2004 he left [2] Bally Total Fitness and founded Massage Heights with his wife Shane L Evans.
