In memory of my great-great-parents Luke Doyle (1850-1919) of Gardenfort (Garrynphort), Coolagarry in County Roscommon who died on 9 March 1919 at the Worcester City Hospital, Worcester County, Massachusetts, he was a wire worker employed by the American Steel and Wire Company and to his wife Anne Doyle née Bannon (1850-1929) of Gortaphuill, Dysart and Ballinasloe in County Roscommon, in charge of the family farm and to their grandson, World War II veteran from the U.S, Eugene Joseph Leahy (1916-1986).
My great-great-uncles Michael (d. 1945) and Patrick (d. 1959) Doyle, both farmers of Dysart.
