Tom Hollister Trio (also known as TH3) are a blues rock band from Newport, South Wales consisting of Tom Hollister on lead vocals & bass, Chris Buck on guitar & backing vocals and Adam Roberts on drums. Formed in late 2009, the band have released a debut E.P. entitled "Tom Hollister Trio - The E.P." which features the first three tracks that the band wrote together; Tell Her Not To Go, Hold You Down & Tied Up in Blue. The band's debut effort was officially released at the now closed Front Rooms in Cheltenham, UK - a gig which was attended by Steve Winwood & his Grammy Nominated producer, James Towler. It was at this gig that discussions started regarding possible recording sessions between TH3 & Towler.

These negotiations were spurred on in April 2010 when Alan Niven, former manager of U.S. rock group Guns N' Roses hailed TH3 guitarist Buck as "the best up-and-coming player I've heard this century" in an edition of Classic Rock dedicated to former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash. In the months that followed, the band recorded a BBC Live session; played at Knebworth for the Sonisphere Festival' recorded several tracks at Steve Winwood's 'Wincraft Studios' with James Towler and have been hailed as "the finest trio out of the UK since Cream & the Jimi Hendrix Experience" by renowned rock journalist/author Mick Wall on Classic Rock radio. On June 3rd 2010, TH3 played a sold out show out at The Globe in Cardiff - a gig which was attended by over 250. The band are now managed by Alan & Heather Niven after they expressed an interest in managing TH3 following the media interest from the Classic Rock article.
