EsoZone is an occulture festival in Portland, Oregon in its third annual year.
EsoZone is a TAZ of renegade philosophers, experimental magicians, visionary artists, outsider academics, street entrepreneurs, mad scientists, sexy satanists, conspiracy theorists, benevolent pranksters, fearless psychonauts and other shameless mutants.
- It’s where the fringes meet & the others are, during a weekend dedicated to both high and low weirdness.
EsoZone 2007: Designer Reality Expo August 2007, Portland birthed Esozone: Designer Reality Expo, a first-of-its-kind event featuring visionary painter Paul Laffoley, London-based occult theater troupe Foolish People [1], John Harrigan on Hyperglyphs,, the Viking Youth Power Hour radio live, conspiracy analyst Freeman [2], Wes Unruh, Experimental Sorcerors Lupa & Taylor Ellwood, Bill Whitcomb on Chemgnosis, Johnny Brainwash on Mutant Meatspace Networks.

EsoZone 2008: The Other Tomorrow
Esozone: The Other Tomorrow, held October 10-12, 2008, featured paratheatrical astrologer Antero Alli; entheogen expert Dennis McKenna; the Church of Satan's Rex Diabolus Church's Ragnarok Engine; Buckminster Fuller scholar and SubGenius archivist Trevor Blake [3], Clyde Lewis of the radio show Ground Zero Lounge; Alex Ansery, host of Outside the Box; occult authors Taylor Ellwood and Lupa, and [OTO] Sekhet Maat Magister Templi Joseph Thiebes.
Interactive workshops and presentations at EsoZone 2008 included: Esoteric Technology; Optimal Futurism; how to build your own demon conjuring forge, 21st century shamanism, how to live off the grid, and the 8-circuit brain, swordfighting with Mu Ryu [4] and Ikipr's machine that transforms [EEG] waves into music and sound.
Esozone 2008 showcased the performance art and music of Hecate, [Oryelle Defenestrate], Nemo, Cult of Zir, Ogo Eion, & the C-PAN [5] Magickal Midnight Mass: Black Sun, Snakes & Stars.
