Ilaya is a barangay in the first district of Las Piñas, Metro Manila, Philippines.

As of 2020, Ilaya has a population of 7,103 people spread over 0.1404 km² (0.0542 sq mi) of land. It is the smallest barangay of Las Piñas by population and land area.

The barangay is bordered by Elias Aldana on the west, Daniel Fajardo on the east, and Pulang Lupa Uno on the south.

History

The barangay was established on 1963 after the republic act No. 3590 was signed by president Diosdado Macapagal.[1]
