These are the proposed updates to the Union Jack canton of the 20ᵗʰ century Flag of Australia to include a history clock of our many cultures so that people in Australia can let their own minds fill the rest of the canton with the flag they personally prefer:

• E 01:30 to 04:30 the Australian Aboriginal Flag
• S 04:30 to 07:30 the Torres Strait Islander Flag
• W 07:30 to 10:30 the Flag of the UK of GB and N Ireland
• N 10:30 to 13:30 Reversed Boxing Kangaroo (facing East as per kangaroos always proceeding forwards, not forgetting our Aboriginal history, Advance Australia Fair, Rising Sun, ANZAC dawn, and advances in STEM and culture)

1. the Eastern quadrant represents the first Australians
2. the Southern quadrant represents the indigenous Islanders
3. the Western quadrant represents the inter-ethnic language from colonial Australia
4. the Northern quadrant represents the modern multicultural 3ʳᵈ millennium Australians
