Fanmio is an American fan experience website. Fanmio was created in 2017 by Solomon Engel, Aaron Anderson, Christian Gambardella, and Marcin Butanowicz. The site allows fans to interact with celebrities through video meet and greets or other online experiences.[1]
Overview
[edit]Fanmio has offered video meet and greet experiences with celebrities such as John Cleese, Tim Curry, Jack Dylan Grazer, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo and athletes such as Floyd Mayweather Jr.[2][3][4][5]
On December 6th, 2020, Fanmio announced an exhibition boxing match between former five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and YouTuber Logan Paul would take place exclusively on its platform.[6] Talks of the fight started in early 2019, when Fanmio was working with both Mayweather and Paul on separate engagements.[7] The fight was postponed to June 6, 2021 and distribution was expanded to include Showtime PPV and other global distributors. The event took place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.[8]
