exide (band) exide are a thrash metal band from birmingham england. Formed in november 2008 the band originally consisted of Andy Dyer on bass and lead vocals, jamie gannon on guitars (both formerly of black magic) and tom bates on the drums problems however soon arose between the band and jamie gannon was kicked out as he had no desire to reach the level of fame the band aim for. Not long after the band first formed in december 2008 drummer sean horton joined the ranks with tom bates taking over as guitarist
