Misadventure in Little Lon is an mobile augmented reality video game investigating a true crime which accrued in Melbourne red light district in 1910. Developed by Australian independent game studio 10tickles Animation & Design, released in October 2019 for AR capable mobile devices downloadable from App store or Google Play.

Misadventure in Little Lon is the first independent game venture by Melbourne animation studio 10tickles Animation & Design. Co-owners Andy Yong and Emma Ramsay a husband and wife team, taking their experience with commercial augmented reality projects, they decided to develop a mobile app incorporating their fondness for Melbourne and true crime.

History consultant Micheal Shelford has researched extensively into what life was like in Little Lonsdales street back in 1900s. For more that a decade of reading pages stored at the public record office of Victoria, he has brought to light notorious characters and funds his research by taking walking tours.

The first game idea in the series was submitted to receive grants funding from City of Melbourne and Film Victoria, after quick rounds of reviews, the app/game was approved for support and soon after the recipients started development in late 2017.
