Glenferrie Primary School formerly known as Manningtree road state school is a government-funded, government-run, co-educational primary school for years Prep-6 located on Manningtree Road and Wattle Road in Hawthorn a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
The school has many architecturally significant buildings such as the Gothic-style main hall built with polychromatic brick in 1881, a brick caretaker cottage built-in 1909 and the a large bell tower pictured in their logo built 1877.[1]
The school opened in March 1877 and had over 600 students enrolled by 1887[2]- as of 2023, Glenferrie Primary School has a total enrolment of 348[3].
