MetaComb, Inc. (MCI) is the producer of MetaComb™ material (MCM) - a sustainable building material and product used in interior decorative applications as Architectural Showcase paneling, and as a Composite Structural Insulated Panels used in assembly of wall partitions, modular structures, and other building applications.

MetaComb™ materiaL [1](MCM) (U.S. Patent No. 8,597,455 [2]) is a lightweight corrugated honeycomb core composite with a polymer face-sheet on one or both faces of the material. Some of MCM characteristics include water impermeability, high strength/weight ratio, and acoustic and thermo-insulating properties, and translucency combined with a strong aesthetic appeal. This makes MCM highly sought-after as a versatile building material and makes it well suited for interior, exterior, structural and non-structural building applications. For example, MCM panels are currently being used by Architects to fabricate elements for finished interiors, and as a Composite Structurally Insulating Panels (CSIPs) used in the construction of modular temporary and semi-permanent structures.
MetaComb™ panels may have varying surface configurations, core grade, thickness, finished edges, and can be made with application-specific polymers. MCM is currently offered in panels, sheets and tiles. Core grades and types include: 100% recycled content, mono-sorted, and 100% virgin pulp cardboard. Surface configurations include: straight (vertical/horizontal), hexagonal (macro-honeycomb) with thickness ranging from 1/4” to 7”. Aside from core grade, surface configurations and finished thickness, MCM product options may include edge treatment options or add-ons, hardware integrated options, made with application specific polymers, material and system integration design, as well as planning/control of the products life-cycle.
