Adam John Vargas was born in Waukegan, IL and raised in Carrizo Springs, TX. At a very young age he started banging on pots and pans showing an interest in beats and rhythms. Noticing this talent, his mother got him a toy drum set and his musical adventure soon took flight. His next instrument was the guitar which he learned to play at the age of 13, He also taught himself how to play piano on the old piano in the church his Grandfather built and preached in. He would soon perform in various local bands near his hometown area. Not long thereafter his talent was noticed and he was recruited by Grammy Nominated Artist, La Sombra de Tony Guerrero, where he became Guitarist for the band for several years. His passion for songwriting, arranging and creating music was recognized by his bandmate from La Sombra, Ray Talamantez Jr, who introduced Adam to his sister Esmi Talamantez,

the three then collaborated on her debut CD.  Adam’s songs were selected by Fonovisa as the debut albums singles, “Con El Tiempo “ and “Viento Loco” - both songs charted at the same time on Billboards top 25 latin Hits.    

Adams Musicianship can be identified on many albums in the industry. He has performed live and recorded guitar for many Tejano Greats, Grammy Award winning and nominated artists such as La Sombra, La Diferenzia, Emilio Navaira, Jay Perez, Gary Hobbs, and Kumbia Kings. This bringing him to his most recent venture and collaboration with, "Los Envivo Kings" a newly formed band comprised of Grammy Award winners and his good friends, Nando, Pangie, Megga, and Abel, Formally of Kumbia Kings and Super Reyes fame. Their new Tour and Album is set to be unleashed in 2016. Adam Was also Inducted into the Tejano Music Hall Of Fame in 2016.
