Waiza Rafique (واعظہ رفیق) , born in Jhang Saddar, Punjab, Pakistan is a Pakistani Lawyer, Author and Urdu Language Poet. Being a philanthropist, she has worked with various organizations like [1], Americal Bar Association ,

Lahore Education and Research Network, Punjab Judicial Academy Punjab Judicial AcademyPositive Pakistan for women empowerment, promoting Legal education and serving the under-served segments of society. 

Her prime focus in her poetry also seems to be on the discriminatory class system, gender imbalance and overall socio-political trauma of human life.

[1][2] She has done her LLB Honors from Punjab University Law College, Lahore. Besides her major Law degree, she has attained Post-Graduate Diploma in International Affairs with distinction from Department of Political Science, University of the Punjab and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking Laws and Litigation from Punjab University Law College. She is also Certified under a course-cum-internship Program in International Law by Research Society of International Law http://rsilpak.org/.

Waiza started her career as a Lawyer with Sardar Qasim Farooq Ali, Senior Advocate Supreme Court and Mahmood Azam Awan http://www.mawanlaw.com/p/people.php as a legal internee. She is now working with Azam & Rai Advocates and Legal Consultants[3] .

Her major areas of interest include Corporate Law, Civil Litigation, Banking Law, Oil and Gas Laws, Construction Laws, Constitutional Law, International Law and Law of Arbitrations. Along with her professional engagements, she has keen interest in social, political, cultural and gender related issues prevalent in Pakistani society. She frequently writes legal/socio-political articles at prestigious fora like Pakistan Law Journal, Courting the Law and LEARN Blogs.She has been an assistanat at Lahore Education and Researach Network under LEARN's Volunteer Program, a Youth Parliamentarian, Member of Youth Standing Committee on Rule of Law under Youth Provincial Assembly Punjab(YPAP) by PILDAT and is a leading team member of Positive Pakistan Lahore Chapter https://www.positivepakistan.org/index.ppf?self

She has also worked with Legal & Analytical Research Center (LARC)[4] on Arbitration Laws in Pakistan

سانحے سے بھی بڑا اک سانحہ سانحہ در سانحہ, پھر سانحہ

جو دکھائی دے رہا ہے وہ تو ھے جو نہیں دکھتا ,مسلسل سانحہ

جس پہ نہ گزری ہو کیسے کہہ سکے کس نوعیت کا ہوا ہے سانحہ

سانحے سب یاں تماشا بن گئے اور تماشا بھی یہاں اک سانحہ

اس پہ سارے پل رہے ھیں آجکل روزی روٹی کی وجہ ہے سانحہ

حکمرانو! آؤ پھر وعدے کرو آج بھی برپا ھوا اک سانحہ
